Hailing from the Far East, Celestial came upon Eorzea entirely by accident. Unlike other Doman refugees, she was not initially a part of any resistance or fleeing any particularly brutal occupation, but instead was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time. Despite this, she makes the most of it, taking the chance to explore this new world and see what it's like outside her little mountain village.
Backstory
Celestial is a simple girl with a relatively simple mindset: what happens is essentially the will of the kami and will come to pass. For her, everything has a reason, including even the bad--for there are indeed selfish and evil kami. She tries to believe in the end, the kami watching her are good, and set things in motion ultimately for her benefit in the end. She keeps this close to heart when she is swept away from her homeland and left more or less stranded in Eorzea.
Since arriving to Eorzea, Celestial has been exposed to a variety of things she never thought possible from her isolated mountain village. Once she feared and could not control her magic, and now with study and training, she has learned to harness a variety of foci to become an adept black mage, but always she seeks to better her power for the sake of the new friends she had acquired on this side of the world.
She has since found a way home to see her family again, but now knowing the greater world, has opted to return to Eorzea with her friends.One of her first and greatest friends has also since become much more important to her, and is one of the driving forces for her to better learn her magical talent in an effort to keep him safe.
Quirks
• As one who never really had money, Celestial doesn't really know what to do with it. She'll end up buying unneeded sweets if she finds herself with "too much" koban.• Has a very obvious Hingan accent, and will default to her native language when confused or excited. Has gotten into the habit of using strange swears.• Enjoys collecting rocks and has a large collection, most of it useless, but has a few gems and crystals.• Doesn't have much of a fashion sense and will wear what's given to her.• Has a habit of people watching and tends to stare and zone out when in a crowd.
